A brand new “teaser” trailer has just dropped for Wildwood. This is the latest stop-motion animated film from LAIKA, the studio behind modern classics like Coraline, ParaNorman and Kubo and the Two Strings.

It’s no surprise coming from them that Wildwood looks visually stunning, with this entire trailer playing like a highlight reel showing off what they can do. The scope of it, and the fluidity of the character movements, look breathtaking. I’m very excited to see this one.

The film opens exclusively in theatres on October 23rd, and is being handled by VVS Films here in Canada. I’m really hoping we get a premiere at TIFF before that…
