10 Days to Christmas: The Countdown Starts Tomorrow…

December 15, 2012

By John C.

Christmas TreeLast year, we dedicated each of the first 24 days of December to a different Christmas classic, but this process meant that we regrettably left off a few along the way.  There are so many classics to be watched around the holidays that this year we will be taking a slightly different approach to counting down the days before Christmas.  I know, we’re cheating a bit today just to add a tenth post, but what we’re doing this year for our annual One Movie, Five Views countdown does need a bit of explaining before we truly get started tomorrow on the 16th.

Starting tomorrow and ending on December 24th, we will be looking at the holiday classics that have been made in each of the nine decades from the 1930s to the 2010s.  The requirement for titles to be included is that they have either gained classic status over the years or are personal favourites of ours, and the articles will vary in length depending how many there were in that decade.

We hope you will join us for our comprehensive countdown to the big day itself as we take the time to further appreciate some of the best Christmas movies and TV specials.  Tomorrow, the classics of the 1930s…
