Today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing White House Down on DVD & Blu-ray.  When John Cale (Channing Tatum) goes in for a job interview with the Secret Service, the White House comes under siege by a group of heavily armed attackers, and he finds himself fighting not only to save his daughter (Joey King) but also to protect the President (Jamie Foxx).

Although thematically similar to the mediocre Olympus Has Fallen, White House Down actually has more fun with the material, as director Roland Emmerich stages plenty of over the top action scenes.  Despite the often ridiculous screenplay, this is a mildly entertaining film that coasts by on the easy chemistry between the likeable leads Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.

The DVD includes four featurettes.
