Focus Features has just put out the first official trailer for Elsinore, fresh off the film winning the International People’s Choice Award at TIFF. Andrew Scott stars in the film as Chariots of Fire actor Ian Charleson, with the film focusing on his performance in a production of Hamlet while he was dying of AIDS.

I saw this one at TIFF (you can read my full review right here), and Scott’s performance is immensely powerful. Expect him to be one of our Oscar frontrunners for Best Actor. This is a well-edited trailer that gives a good sense of what to expect from the emotional film, which opens exclusively in select theatres beginning November 20th.
