Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing the excellent threequel Men in Black 3 on Blu-ray & DVD today, just in time for the weekend and gift giving season.  With good special effects, a briskly paced running time and an honestly moving twist in the last act, this was one of the best surprises of the early summer movie season.  We were all pleasantly surprised by Men in Black 3 when we reviewed the film in theatres on May 25th, our overall consensus was:

“Fifteen years after the entertaining original, Men in Black 3 is a surprisingly good threequel that delivers strong performances, fun special effects and a lot of heart that comes from the perfectly realized time travel elements of the story.  ***1/2 (Out of 4)”

The Blu-ray includes several featurettes, four scene investigations and five progression reels, as well as a gag reel and the music video for the hit song “Back in Time” by Pitbull.

Men in Black 3 is 105 minutes and rated PG.
