Today, 20th Century Fox released Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters on Blu-ray & DVD.  This second big screen adaptation of Rick Riordan’s popular books follows the demigod Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman), Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario) and Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) as they journey to the Sea of Monsters to track down the mythical Golden Fleece.

Released in theatres back on August 7th and directed by Thor Freudenthal, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is another admittedly campy fantasy adventure that serves up Greek mythology for family audiences.  But those who enjoyed the pretty good first film back in 2010 are sure to also be entertained by this sequel, and the Blu-ray would make a fine gift for fans of the series.

The Blu-ray includes a Tyson motion comic and three featurettes.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is 106 minutes and rated PG.
