DVD Release: Takedown: The DNA of GSP
Last week, Remstar Films released the Canadian documentary Takedown: The DNA of GSP on DVD & Blu-ray. Directed by Peter Svatek and Kristian Manchester, the film follows mixed martial artist Georges St-Pierre from his humble upbringing in Québec City, to his reigning title as the UFC welterweight world champion.
Most recently, Georges St-Pierre had a small but memorable role as a ruthless pirate going up against Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) near the beginning of this weekend’s box office hit Captain America: The Winter Soldier. For fans of mixed martial arts, Takedown: The DNA of GSP is a pretty good documentary that shows how the adversaries he has faced both in life and the ring have made him stronger as a fighter and person.
The DVD includes no bonus features.
Takedown: The DNA of GSP is 88 minutes and rated 14A.
